Getting Started with Vid Optimus

Vid Optimus turns a script you already wrote into a finished video. This is the three-minute version of everything else in this section.
1. Install it
Download the build for your OS from the download page. On Windows, choose More info → Run anyway if SmartScreen flags a new release. On macOS, right-click the app and choose Open the first time, past Gatekeeper.
2. Your 7-day trial starts on first launch
No account, no card. The full app is unlocked, limited to 3 videos a day and scripts up to 5,000 characters, with no watermark on anything you export.
3. Add your API keys
Settings → Keys. You only need keys for the providers you want to use — voiceover and stock photos or video work with no key at all. See Adding Your API Keys for the full walkthrough.
4. Paste a script and generate
Paste your script on the Create screen, pick a visual style, and either turn on Auto mode for a one-click run or step through scenes yourself. See Your First Video next.
