Narration and captions in Urdu or Arabic, laid out correctly.
Many video tools scramble right-to-left captions: words in the wrong order, highlights on the wrong word. Vid Optimus lays out Urdu, Arabic, Hebrew and Persian captions and text cards the way they read, worked out from your own script.
Right-to-left text is more than flipping a line. Highlighted captions need each word built in reading order, lines need breaking in spoken order, and motion graphics need their layout mirrored.
Vid Optimus does this from the words themselves, per caption, so an Urdu or Arabic narration lays out correctly without you finding a setting. The app itself is in English; it is your video that reads right to left.
Per-word highlighting, and the pop, ghost and karaoke styles, all render correctly in right-to-left scripts. Lines break in spoken order, since a mirrored line cannot be wrapped automatically.
Text cards mirror their placement, alignment, bulleted lists, wipes and caret. Typewriter, scramble and emphasis effects still run in reading order, and opening hooks lay out right to left in your caption font.
Direction is decided per caption from its own words, so a mixed script works too. You can still set the direction by hand on any caption or text layer.
