Most AI video tools render your video on their servers and make you wait in a queue. Vid Optimus renders the final MP4 on your own Windows PC, using the hardware you already paid for.

Graphics card names don't tell you much. A card can report as NVIDIA and still have no usable encoder. So Vid Optimus tests each encoder with a real encode using your export settings, then races the winner against your CPU and renders with whichever is faster. You never have to set anything up.

    Run the installer. If Windows SmartScreen shows a warning for a new release, choose More info, then Run anyway.

    Add your API keys

    Open Settings and add keys for the AI providers you want to use. The built-in voice and stock photos and videos need no key.

  3. 3 Script

    Paste a script and export

    Paste your script, turn on Auto mode, then export an MP4. Your 7-day trial starts when you first open the app.

Does Vid Optimus work on Windows 10 and Windows 11?

Yes. It runs on both Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit.

Do I need a powerful PC or a graphics card?

No. A graphics card with a working encoder makes export faster, but it isn't required. Without one, Vid Optimus renders with your CPU and the video comes out the same.

Which graphics cards speed up export?

Vid Optimus tests NVIDIA NVENC, Intel Quick Sync and AMD AMF, and renders with whichever is fastest on your PC, including your CPU. You can also pick one yourself in Settings.

Why does Windows warn me about the installer?

Windows SmartScreen can warn about a new release before it builds up a reputation. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

Can I store my projects on another drive?

Yes. Move your project library to any drive from Settings.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes. AI images, stock search, voiceover and transcription use online providers, and your licence is checked online. The final video renders on your PC.

Can I use my licence on a Mac too?

Yes. One licence works on Windows and macOS, on one computer at a time. Move it from your dashboard whenever you switch.
