Do I need to buy credits or pay per video?
No. Vid Optimus has no credits. You connect your own API keys for the AI providers you want to use. The built-in voice and stock photos and videos are free, with no key needed. Your licence is one flat price with unlimited videos.
What is the difference between the plans?
Only how you pay. Monthly, yearly and lifetime all include every feature and unlimited videos. Every paid plan also includes priority support.
Which AI providers does Vid Optimus work with?
Groq or OpenAI for script planning and word-level transcription. Runware, Replicate, Together AI, Modal and AI33 for AI images, with 40+ models. Pexels and Pixabay for stock. Voiceover has 7+ engines, including a free built-in one.
What happens when the free trial ends?
The trial gives you 7 days, up to 3 videos a day, scripts up to 5,000 characters and no watermark. When it ends, the app locks until you activate a licence. There is no free plan after the trial.
How many computers can I use my licence on?
One at a time. To switch computers, deactivate the old one from your dashboard and activate the new one. You can do this any time.
Can I get a refund?
Please try every feature free for 7 days first. Once your licence is activated on a computer, all sales are final.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card payments through our secure checkout. Your licence key is emailed to you as soon as the payment goes through.
Who owns the videos I make?
You do, including for commercial use. Images, clips and voices from third-party providers still follow those providers' own terms, so check them before publishing at commercial scale.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. AI images, stock search, voiceover and transcription all use online providers, and your licence is checked online. The final video is rendered on your own computer.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10/11 or macOS, plus disk space for your projects (you can pick any drive). You don't need a GPU. Vid Optimus finds the fastest video encoder on your computer and falls back to your CPU if there isn't one.
