Using AI Director

What AI Director actually decides, and how to keep it editable afterwards.

AI Director is the difference between "one image per paragraph" and an actual edit.

What it decides

  • How many shots a scene needs
  • Which visual source each shot comes from — AI image, stock photo or stock video
  • How long each shot holds, and how it arrives (its transition)
  • Pacing across the whole video: calm, standard or punchy cut rhythm

Turning it on

A switch on the Create or Visuals screen. Once it is on, set the pacing you want — punchy suits a fast-cut Shorts version, calm suits a slower documentary tone.

It is still your edit

Every decision AI Director makes is a normal, editable project afterwards. Swap a shot, change a transition, or override the source for one scene without turning the whole feature off.

Consistent characters

If a figure recurs across several shots — a host, a mascot, a recreated historical figure — turn on consistent characters from the Visuals screen so it keeps the same face across the shots it appears in, rather than a new interpretation each time.
