What is music ducking?

Lowering the music while someone speaks and raising it in the pauses. Vid Optimus does it automatically on every project, with a slider for how far the music dips.

What is -14 LUFS?

A loudness level. YouTube and TikTok play videos at about -14 LUFS, so a mix levelled there is not quieter than other videos and is not turned down by the platform.

Can I turn the loudness levelling off?

Yes. Switch Level for YouTube & TikTok off under Music to keep the mix as it is.

Is the music royalty-free?

The tracks bundled with Vid Optimus are royalty-free.

Can I turn sound effects off?

Yes. Choose a density of subtle, balanced or punchy, or leave them off. In SceneSync's Beat Sync they are off by default so they do not play over your music.

Does it work with my own voiceover?
